Youth ‘Young 4 Life’ Ministry

Welcome to Young Life 4 Life, where we’re all about youth ages 5 – 19. 

We’ve cultivated an atmosphere and haven where youth can whole-heartily be themselves and receive encouragement to grow into the blessings that God intended them to be. In this atmosphere, tears are turned to joy, challenges are met with encouraging truth, and frowns are turned upside down!Our Vision God has anointed Petra with a sound that has captured this generation for God. Our Youth Ministry facilitates opportunities for children and teenagers that meet them where they are and take them where God has predestined them to be. We know that they are “World Changers”. The sound that Petra has and continues to foster comes in the form of fellowship, training, and counseling, and equips our youth for purpose and destiny.Our Mission Is to love, nurture, and positively impact youth from all backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, neighborhoods, identities, and cultural differences. We desire to help youth see themselves the way God sees them, as uniquely and wonderfully made by Him, and believe, as well as trust, that they are filled with His great purpose and destiny.

Ages 13+

Join us on Sunday mornings, as we join in with the congregation for corporate worship in song, giving and hearing the word of God. We will soon be rolling out something new!!! Once a month we will have a teen service in the Teen Center that will be directly related to what God is bringing forth in our young people. We call out to the teens saying, “come and experience what God wants to show you about YOU!” On Thursday evenings, starting at seven o’clock the teens are invited to enter the “locker room”. This is a time when the teens are encouraged to challenge each other in engaging dialogue, grow together, and interact with their peers. They learn the word of God and how to hear and apply what God speaks concerning every area of their lives as He draws them closer to Him. When the teens come, they receive a meal, time to hang out with friends, and, most importantly, they learn. The teens are encouraged to bring a friend and learn about God and how much He loves and delights in them!
